“This administration has completely neglected our Southwest border,” House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green, R-Tenn., said Friday amid reports that December was on track to set a single month records for illegal immigration at more than 275,000 crossers.

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rep. Mark Green (R-TN) warned earlier this year that some of the Chinese nationals entering the United States had connections to the Chinese Communist Party and the People’s Liberation Army, citing information from a Border Patrol Sector Chief.

The record numbers were released just ahead of the holiday weekend, which GOP Rep. Mark Green of Tennessee, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said was by design to limit the visibility of the crisis at the southern border.
